The Norris Titans took home a 7-2 victory over Beatrice on Tuesday at beautiful Christenson Field. Norris scored four runs in the sixth inning to put the game out of reach for the Orangemen. The offensive onslaught by the Titans was led by Joe Osborn, Connor Price, and Cade Argo, who each had RBIs in the inning. Tyler Monroe was the winning pitcher for the team. He surrendered two runs on one hit over five and a third innings, striking out ten. Colbey Behrends threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Hoffman took the loss for Beatrice. He allowed one hit and three runs over three innings, striking out three. The Titans tallied seven hits on the evening. Osborn and Grant Gouldin each managed multiple hits for Norris with two singles. Cade Argo and Gage Hansmeyer also had doubles on the evening. It is a quick turn around for the team as the host the A3 district starting today. Titans with the top seed in the district will play Saturday at 1:30 against the GACC-SS-WPB vs. Plattsmouth winner.
