Will Reetz leads the Titans to 6-4 win over Bennington

An exceptional effort by Will Reetz spurred the Norris Titans Varsity to a 6-4 win in seven innings over Bennington on Thursday.

Reetz hit two home runs for the Norris Titans Varsity. Reetz went 2-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Reetz homered in the sixth and seventh innings.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.

The Norris Titans Varsity finally managed to grab the lead after a strong seventh inning. The Norris Titans Varsity scored on a two-run home run by Reetz off Grant Carl, plating Drew Reetz.

Zach Argo got the win in relief for the Norris Titans Varsity. Argo pitched three innings and allowed two runs.

Mitch In Den Bosch took the loss for Bennington. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed three runs.

Bennington jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Masen Prososki kicked things off for Bennington with a single. A groundout by Jacob Wageman then moved Prososki from first to second. Seth Krayneski singled, scoring Prososki.

The Norris Titans Varsity scored two runs of their own in the seventh on the Reetz dinger.
