2022 EMC Art Show, April 1st - April 20th
EMC Art Show on display through April 20th
Each year Norris Art students are honored for their hard work and talent by being selected to represent Norris High School and the Eastern Midlands Conference in the annual EMC Art Show.
This year the EMC show was set up Friday, Ap1st, and will conclude with students traveling to the Hot Shops located in Omaha's Old Market on Wednesday, April 20th. On the 20th, students will participate in two art demonstrations, have a chance to visit various studios at the Hot Shops, and view the artwork that is on display from the other schools in our conference. The demonstrations that the students will participate in include a presentation on glass blowing and pottery.
Students that represent Norris in this year's EMC art show are: McKenna Becher (12th), Avie Carpenter (12th), Harper Gable (9th), Avery Houseman (9th), Makayla McAlexander (12th), Allie Morrison (10th), Amy Ruacho-Ramirez (12th), Haven Unger (9th), and Macy Westover (12th)
Anyone is welcome to visit the display at The Hot Shops free of charge. The Hot Shops Art Center is located at 1301 Nicholas Street, Omaha, and the EMC show is on the 2nd floor of the building. The gallery is open 10 AM-6 PM on weekdays and 11 AM-5 PM on weekends
