COVID-19/ARP ESSER
COVID-19/ARP ESSER
Norris School District engaged in a collaborative process involving students, staff, parents, community members, and local health professionals during Summer 2020 to craft a “Return to School” plan for the 2020-21 school year. The plan was made available on a Google Site linked to the District website and frequent updates were provided to stakeholders either by email or through video recordings summarizing the plan to stakeholders (example video link).
As we transition to the 2021-22 school year and beyond, Norris School District will continue to update its plan, protocols, and seek to address any needs related to, or associated with, the COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with its school community. The original plan will remain intact and “addendums” to the plan for subsequent school years will be added to reflect changing circumstances and guidance.
Norris School District intends to use federal ARP ESSER resources in accordance with the established parameters to address student learning needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic and to promote health and safety for all who use its campus. Below are links to the Return to School Plan and a corresponding survey for you to provide your feedback on the plan and the use of ARP ESSER.
Please contact the Norris School District office at 402-791-0000 if you have any questions.
