This class is designed to be a college prep, project based class in which basic principles of music construction are studied.  Music theory will cover theoretical principles of music composition and may include working with music technology using iPads and ChromeBooks.  Music history will give a general background on composers, time periods, and styles.  Students will also explore sound recording technique through studio-type lab use of recording equipment.
Students entering this class are expected to understand basic music theory concepts of rhythms and notation (music reading). Exceptions may be made on an individual basis after consultation with Dr. Lee.
