Board of Education vacancy application

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Board of Education of Norris School District #160 as a result of the death of Patty Bentzinger. In accordance with state law, the Board will begin the process of appointing an individual to complete the remainder of Mrs. Bentzinger’s term on the board. The length of the unexpired term is for the same length of time as Ms. Bentzinger would have served on the Board of Education. Interested Applicants must live in Ward 2 to be appointed for the open seat.

Our first performance this year will be our Fall Concert on October 10th. Visit theCHOIR WEBSITE for important information regardingATTIRE for middle school performers.  

Please excuse the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choir students at 1:20 PM (10 minutes before WIN begins) until about 2:00 to 2:05 or so?  We need to have a meeting with all of them in the high school auditorium and think using WIN would be the best option to avoid students missing too much class time?  Class lists are below.


There will be a final MS Cross Country Meeting in Mrs. Wesch's room on Wednesday during WIN (1:40-1:58).  Start out in your WIN for silent reading, then come down!


Mid Week Homecoming Competition update: Kranz (7 points), Leehy (6 Points), Lechtenberg (5 Points), and Coe (5 Points) are on the top of the leaderboard for dress up day participation! 


TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11TH 7TH AND 8TH GRADE BOYS GOING OUT FOR BASKETBALL THERE WILL BE AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING DURING WIN IN THE COMMONS AREA.

You are to be using your Current School Year Badge- last years are NOT to be used!

            Not using your badges slows down the process and more.

To Identify the Student, Make sure you are on and get off, and 

  • With the new App for Parents to Track their Students on the Bus

As a 7th Grader you must have a current Physical on file whether playing a sport or not.  Dated after May 1st, 2022. And a current immunization record

 

If you are not playing a sport, 6th - 8th graders are eligible to purchase an Activity Pass for $30.  This pass will get you into MS & HS non-tournament games at no cost.
