Kudos/Shout-Out/Congratulations to our Middle School Students that ROCKED it on stage in Titans Got Talent Last night! Emceed by our very own Scott, Handy With The Microphone, Hakel,  we had 5 of our very own Middle School students that qualified and performed  in the Main Event of Titans Got Talent!

  • Hayden Nielsen and Josh Fredrick - "Watching You" 

Our very own Ben Bishop rocked the Stage with his version of "Riptide" winning over the hearts of our voters and bringing home some Cold, hard cash! After winning the cash, 

Congrats to all that performed, they did GREAT!! 


This coming Tuesday will be our first Hat/Hood day sponsored by PBIS. 

Who: Students and Staff of NMS

What: Can purchase a sticker for $1 and put it on their Hat/Hood. This will allow you to wear a school-appropriate Hat/Hood for the whole day.

When:Purchase a sticker at the doors as you enter school Tuesday, November 23

Drama Club will begin meeting Tuesday, November 29 from 3:30-4:30 in Ms. Zvolanek’s room. Please arrange transportation if you plan to attend! 

Congratulations to the students who won their brackets in the Chess Tournament! The Advanced Chess Winners Champion was Gage Docter. The Beginners Chess Winners Champion was Collin Babcock. In the Consolation bracket, the Advanced winner was Mason Busch, and the Beginners winner was Kane Schroeder. Congratulations!


The weather has turned colder, please start dressing appropriately for going outside for recess, etc.


Reminder: “Nuisance items” are not allowed at school. A nuisance item is something that is not required for educational purposes and which would cause a distraction to the student or others.

Student Council will meet during WIN on Friday in Mrs. Keller’s room (Room 304).

Science Quiz Bowl this week in Room T2, Friday, 3:45- 4:45 p.m.

Middle School College Savings Scholarship

Students who complete the EducationQuest Middle School College Savings Scholarship activity will be eligible to register for one of five $200 scholarships.

EducationQuest will randomly select one student winner on October 31, December 31, and February 28; two students will be selected on April 30.

To be eligible, a student must:

  • be a U.S. citizen or legal resident

  • be a middle school student attending a Nebraska school

  • complete and mail the scholarship entry form to EducationQuest between September 1 and April 30

EducationQuest will deposit the $200 scholarships into the winners’ NEST 529 College Savings Plan account. Winners who do not have an account will need to set one up.
