The kids had an AMAZING state race! Below are the results! Our girl's team came home as CHAMPIONS, which means that some of them are back-to-back state champions! So proud of their season and wanted to share with all of you!! 


Girls Open Race: CHAMPIONS (team score: 55) Hastings was 2nd with 81 points 

Boys Open Race: THIRD (team score 133)

Boys Championship Race: FOURTH (team score 213)


(team score: 130) Papillion La Vista was 2nd with 195 points

Mya Hulse: 17th 

Taylor Brott: 23rd

Izedora Tidball: 25th 


The boys were just shy of making the top 25 individually! 

Please remember your badge in the library.  You will be sent to retrieve it from your locker or backpack.  Without a barcode we cannot check a book out to you.

6th Graders

The ballot for Student Council voting was sent to your emails this morning. Please take a moment to vote for five candidates. Winners will be announced at the end of the day. Good luck to everyone on the ballot!


8th grade volleyball players should return their clean jersey to Ms. Appleby in Room 306 by Wednesday October 13th.

We are so excited to announce... (drum roll)... it's time for TITANS GOT TALENT! 

Our annual community-wide talent show is coming up. Below is a bunch of information about the auditions, logistics, etc. More information can be found at the Norris Choirs Website - 

What is it? - A community-wide talent show held right here at Norris! We feature all kinds of different acts - singing, dancing, playing an instrument, comedy, group performances, you name it! 

Who can audition? - Anyone who lives in the Norris community and has a talent to share :). 

When are the auditions? - If you are interested in auditioning, you MUST first fill out the audition form here - After we have collected audition forms, a sign-up sheet will be sent via email, where everyone can claim individual time slots.

Why should I audition? - This is a fun way to show off your hard work and ability, and connect with the Norris community. Also, cash prizes will be given to 3 of the acts!  

When is the show? - Tuesday, November 16th at 7:00 PM.


Interested in joining the Norris Trap Team??


Coaches will be holding an informational & sign up meeting on Monday, October 11th at 7:00 P.M. - Hickman Community Center - enter the south doors of the gym. 


For students in grades 6 through 12 who are interested in joining the Trap Team. Students and parents should attend.

All Cell Phones and other Electronic Devices are to be off and in your Locker.  If taken away they may be picked up in the office at the end of the day.  After 3 offenses your Parents will need to pick them up.

Last Year’s, YEARBOOKS are available to purchase in the MS Office for $15.

If you had not ordered and would still like one there are a few left - first come, first served.

Do you love reading?  Are you ready to take it to the next level?  Join our Battle of the Books!!  Students will compete for the honor of reigning Book Champion.  This school wide contest will take place next spring. See Mrs. Lawson or Mrs. Andre in the library for more info. Teams are forming now, so sign up in the library. 

Students: CONGRATS! You have hit you 1000 Titan Token Goal!!!  Reward coming soon-stay tuned!
