NORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLETIN - Feb. 10th, 2014


Middle School SPELLING BEE today at 2:00 in the HS Auditorium.  All contestants meet in the commons at 1:50 to be escorted to the Auditorium.  Good Luck to all participants.


Today, a road trip to Elkhorn Ridge for the 7th grade girls BB Team, players will need to be dismissed at 2:00 pm.


8th grade girls BB too will take on Elkhorn Valley View on Monday here at home with tip off at 4:15 pm.


TRACK FORM FOR ASICS RUNNING TIGHTS available - place your orders

by Monday, Feb. 10th.  Order forms are in a folder down by the locker rooms.

Also available are the forms to register for the Ed Fye’s Track and Field Clinic

being held Sunday, March 2nd - All Event Track Clinic.


Science Bowl Participants see Mrs. Hagan.


The 7th & 8th Grade TALENT SHOW is set for Monday, March 17th in the HS Auditorium.  Tryouts will be Monday, March 3rd and Tuesday, March 4th.  We need musicians, dancers, magicians, comedians, and masters of ceremonies.  See Mr. Price in 401 or email tom.price@nsdtitans.org


Titans Baseball Gear - order now, pick up your form in the MS Office Brochure.


It’s getting close to Valentine’s Day and the H.S. Spanish Club is selling roses this year.  Cost is $3.00 (No suckers this year).


THANK YOU TO ALL THAT ON THIS FRIDAY SHOWED YOUR RED for healthy heart awareness!  February is American Heart month and we are raising awareness by turning Norris red.

Student-Led Conferences are Tuesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 20th.  


First semester 8th grade Art students, please pick-up your clay projects by the end of the week.  We need the space, so unclaimed projects will be tossed out on Friday.

Time for another Book Mark contest!  In honor of Valentines Day, the library is sponsoring a “Zombies Love Reading” bookmark contest.  Come get your entry sheet today.


Have you read 4 Golden Sowers yet this year?  In April we will vote for your favorite Golden Sower and to be eligible you must have read at least 4 of the titles in either the 4-6 or Young Adult categories.  Come down to the library and check one out!
