NORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLETIN - Dec. 9th 2013

7th Grade Girls going out for Basketball there is a sign up sheet on the girls locker room door.  We will have a short meeting on Wednesday, December 11th during jump start in the weight room.

There will be NO MathCounts practice tomorrow, Tuesday due to a basketball conflict.  Please check you email for an important message about a field trip.

7th Grade Boys Basketball Team report to Mr. Halvorsen’s room during jump start today.

The 7th & 8th grade Boys Basketball Teams take on Gretna today.  7th plays here at home in the Elementary Gym, the 8th grade team travels so please dismiss them at 2:30 p.m.  Let’s Go Norris!!!!

The “Soccer Scarf” is the world-wide way to show support for your favorite soccer team.  Whether you’re a player, parent, or fan, these scarves will be the “mark” of Norris Soccer!  Scarves are $15 and will be here in time for the start of the season.  Order forms will be in the MS Office Brochure Holder.  Orders due back with payment Jan. 17th.

Norris Boys Basketball Youth League Grades K - 6 runs Jan. 11, 25 and Febr. 1 & 8th.  Mark your Calendar … Pick up a Registration Form.  Cost $30, which includes

a T-Shirt.

2013 Norris Girls Basketball T-Shirt Order Forms are available in the MS Office brochure holder.  Orders are due back with payment by today, Dec. 9th.

Supreme Court Basketball K - 8 Boys & Girls:  Dec. 9th - Feb. 24th.  Pick up a registration in the MS Office Brochure Holder.  

Norris High School Cheerleaders Cheer Clinic will be January, 24th.  Pick up your registration form in the MS Office brochure holder.  Due date:  Friday, December 13th, 2013.  

If you haven’t noticed the weather has changed … Burrrr!!!  So, let’s dress accordingly inside and out.  With that let’s refresh on Dress Code:  All coats, jackets and hats are to be placed in the locker and not worn in school or placed in lost ‘n found, Pajamas/leisure pants are not acceptable as school attire.  Nor are blankets to be worn throughout the day for they are a safety issue.  Pants or shorts that are ragged with holes or torn are not permitted.  Pants should not sag and the waist must remain above the hipbone.

LOST ‘N FOUND is overflowing!  Please pick up what belongs to you.
