NORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLETIN - Nov. 4th, 2013

Norris High School Student Council is trying to get cans of food and win the Student Hunger Drive.  The food goes to the Food Bank of Lincoln which also is who we get our food from for the Norris Backpack Program.  Middle School students, here is your chance to

HELP OTHERS.  HOWEVER, all canned food needs to be in Mr. Bade’s office by the end of the day TUESDAY!  Lots of people will say we can’t do this in one day… Let’s show them what Norris Middle School is about.   

LET’S FILL MR. BADE’S OFFICE WITH CANNED FOOD BY END OF THE DAY TOMORROW - TUESDAY!  TONS OF TIN CANS ON TUESDAY!!!!!

Reminder:  Friday, Nov. 8th the Entire Middle School will be headed to a RALLY at the Pinnacle Arena.  We will depart from school at 8:40 and will be gone the entire day.

Make sure you have no appointments that day that would have you arriving late or leaving early for we won’t be here to accommodate that schedule.  Rally is schedule from 9:30 - 10:45; the ball game starts at noon and should be over @ 2:00.  A piece of pizza and pop

will be provided for lunch.  Concession stands will be open during the game to purchase snacks.  (Bus Rules apply - No food or drink)

Norris High School Cheerleaders Cheer Clinic will be January, 24th.  Pick up your registration form in the MS Office brochure holder.  Due date:  Friday, December 13th, 2013.  

REMINDER:  If you have a negative lunch balance / or are on Free/Reduce Lunch Program you may get either Grab’n Go or Breakfast , not both.

Our Campus Life Facilitator, Cory Jurgens, has resigned from Campus Life.  Until a replacement can be found, Campus Life will be discontinued in our building until further notice.

Our Fall Book Fair will be here in a couple of weeks.  It runs November 11-15, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Volunteers needed for our Book Fair, November 11-15.  Please check with your parents to see if they are free anytime to be a book fair helper.  Fair runs from 8am to 4 pm everyday.

The 5th & 6th Grade Talent Show has been set for Monday, November 25th at 7:00 p.m.  Tryouts will be Monday, November 11th and Tuesday, November 12th after school.  There will be a signup sheet outside Mr. Price’s door (MS 401) in the 8th grade hallway) during the week of November 4th.  A good variety of acts is needed.

The SkillsUSA Norris Chapter is selling “Titan Attire” wearing apparel designed and screen printed at the school by local members.  As well as through the PTO - get your fliers through the MS Office.
