NORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLETIN -  Oct. 9th, 2013


All 7th Grade Boys who are playing Basketball this year, there is a meeting for everyone this TODAY October 10th, at the beginning of LITT.  Meet in the South Bleachers of the gym.


8th Grade Boys Basketball want a be’s meet in Mr. Severson’s room Friday during LITT.

Check in with your LITT teachers first then report to the meeting.


Our Volleyball girls take on Waverly.  It is the 8th grade last away game, please dismiss the players at 2:25.  7th grade plays here at home at 4:15.  Good Luck Ladies!!!!


Our MS Cross Country Team closes out the season tomorrow here at Norris!  Please dismiss them at 3:15 p.m.  Girls run at 4:15 p.m. and the Boys run at 4:30ish.


Attention HAL students:  Intro to Spanish will only meet on Thursdays instead of Mondays and Thursdays as originally stated.  If you are interested please turn your sign-up forms in to Mrs. Schlake or Mrs. Hagan as soon as possible.


FFA sponsored food drive Friday night at the home Football game.  Free Popcorn to anyone that donates four cans of food!

Reminder for students attending athletic events.  Students are to go to the game to support the team / band.  Middle, Intermediate and Elementary Students are to either sit with your parents OR sit on the north end of the west bleachers (visitor side).  You are expected to sit and watch the game, not run around.  Do not bring footballs or other play equipment to the game.


Saturday, the Norris Cross Country Teams are hosting their annual K-6 fun run. The registration form is in the Middle School Office.  Check it out and return the form along with the signed liability waiver by Friday, Oct. 11th.  You may registration the morning of as well.  The run is this Saturday, at 9 a.m.


This Friday morning at 7:30 come join Mr. Boesiger in the Intermediate school for our first MS FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meeting.  All are welcome to attend and breakfast will be provided.


The Nation’s Largest 1-Mile Youth Cross Country Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 19th.  THE PUMPKIN RUN!!! at Pioneers Park, Lincoln.  Ask your P.E. Teacher for an entry form or, register at NSCEVENTS.COM.



The SkillsUSA Norris Chapter is selling “Titan Attire” wearing apparel designed and screen printed at th eschool by local members.  Use the form which is available in the School Offices to order.
