7th Grade Girls going out for Volleyball next year in 8th grade: See Mrs. Burbach during Jump Start on Today, April 10th for a short meeting in Mrs. Burbach’s room.
Get Your … #titanpride T-Shirt. Funds go to support our amazing four 8th graders that qualified for the NATIONAL HISTORY BEE competition in Atlanta, GA in June. This will be your “Go To” t-shirt. Generic, fits for any event, any day of the week. It’s a “GOTTO HAVE” T-SHIRT. Order forms are in the MS Office Brochure Holder. Orders are due with full payment by April 17th or sooner.
6th Grade Girls: If you are planning to go out for Basketball next year please meet with Coach Hagerman on Thursday during Jump Start in the Gym.

Norris Girls Basketball Clinic for Grades 5, 6, 7 will be May 14, 15, 16 from 3:45 - 5:45. You can pick up registration from Coach Hagerman or the MS Office Brochure Holder.
Good Luck to those participating in the Quiz Bowl on Saturday, April 12th. 7th & 8th Grade Quiz Bowl members meet in the H.S. Cafeteria on Saturday at 8:15 if you plan on helping or competing in the High School Quiz Bowl. See Mrs. Burbach or Ms. Eichinger if you have questions.
As of April 19th, there will be NO library checkouts if you have any overdue/lost books. All checkouts will be limited to TWO books. May 5-9 Checkouts will be limited to ONE book at a time. The last day to checkout books will be Friday, May 9. All books are due Monday, May 12th.
Friday, April 11th, is our Spring Party/Dance. 6th graders who will be joined by 5th graders, will have their party from 3:30 - 5:30. Activities in the gyms include hula hoop contest, open 3 on 3 basketball, knockout, open 4 on 4 volleyball, and dodgeball. For dodgeball, you form your own teams, consisting of 7-9 players. Your team must be submitted in writing to Mr. Bade by 9:00 a.m on Friday. Do not list any students without them knowing of being on your team, so that we do not receive more than one team which has a certain player listed. There are no “Teams” for volleyball or 3 on 3 basketball. It is a rotating type of game, with winners remaining as long as they win. In addition there will be Jum Dance Wii, Open Computer Lab, Sketch Contest. Food will be available for purchase, slice of pizza $2, various kinds of pop $1, assorted candy $1.
7th/8th grade Party/Dance will of course feature a DJ, who is the father of the one and only Norris 8th Grader Olivia Cramm. Gym will be open for basketball and volleyball. Open Computer Lab, and Sketch contest. Color scheme for this dance will be Black/White … more info on this coming tomorrow in the bulletin. Starting Wednesday morning, from 8:05 - 8:25, admission for the 7th/8th grade dance/party will be accepted in the concessions window. Admission is $5 for each student.
Students must pass ALL classes in the 3rd Quarter to be eligible to attend. School dress code attire is the expectation for the Middle School party and Dances. Students leaving the party or dance before the duration will NOT be allowed to return. Only students currently enrolled in Norris Middle School will be allowed to attend the parties and dances. Students will need to make arrangements for rides to be available by the end time of each party/dance. Doors will not open before 7:oo p.m. for the 7th & 8th grade party/dance - please don’t arrive too early.

MS Softball Camp May 27, 28 & 29 at the Norris Softball Field; Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 current year. 4-5:30 Pick up your registration form in the MS office. Registration is due back with payment by May 20th.
8th Grade Boys the 2014 Application for the Nebraska Bison Freshman State Tournament forms are in the MS Office Brochure Holder. Application deadline is next Tuesday, April 8th.
Norris Boys Basketball Camp - May 27, 28, 29 & 30. Registration is due by April 10th. Pick up your registration form in the Brochure Holder in the MS Office.

Information Sheets are available in the office for girls, ages 6 - 17 who are interested in participating in Roller Derby. Sessions will be taught by Nationally sponsored Roller Derby players from lincoln’s No Coast Derby Girls.
Would you like to work in the Lincoln City Libraries this summer? Volunteer registration for the summer reading program is available in the Norris MS library now. Sign up begins April 15th.
2014 Norris Football Camp for Grades 6 & 7 (next year’s 7th and 8th graders). Camp dates are May 7, 8 & 9th at 3:45 - 5:45 located on the Norris High School Football Practice Fields. Pick up a registration in the MS Office Brochure Holder.
Pick up you LINCOLN KIDS Spring quarterly Family Newspaper. It’s packed full of activities, Camp Issue, Artwork and great articles.
