Picture Proofs have been mailed to you, turn in your order form in by Today, Oct. 30th either way order or not. If you forgot we will hold off til tomorrow – ONE MORE DAY! Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 6th.

Today is MIX-IT-Up Day!!!! When you exit the lunch line (or come through cashier area for cold lunches), you will be given something to use and also determine which color-labeled table you go to for lunch period. Some students may not care for this, however we encourage you to think of the message that has inspired this National Day. Understanding and accepting of differences in others, or having tolerance for other people, is the baisis for helping to positively affect many issues not only in our schools, but in society in general. Also on the ABC contest, the winning slogan and the student who submitted it, will be announced tomorrow. You can still turn in your entries for slogan up till the end of the day today.

Winners of our Teen Read Week Book Mark Contest. Winners receive a Barnes and Noble Gift Certificate and both winners and runners-up will have their book marks made and used in the library. Congratulations to

Please help us build a Hall of Heroes! If you would like to honor someone as your hero please submit their picture a short (4-6 sentences!) write-up of why they are your hero. These hero posters can be made in Google Draw or a Word Processing program and e-mailed to Mrs. Wesch. You can also create them on a piece of construction paper and turn them in to the Student Leader of your LITT class. 6Th, 7th, and 8th grade students – check your e-mail for detailed information on the Hero posters! Posters are due on Friday, November 2nd.

Tryouts for the 5th & 6th grade Talent Show will be Monday, November 5th and Tuesday, November 6th right after school. The actual show is Monday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. In the HS Auditorium

Today is the tip off for the Boys MS Basketball season. 7Th grade will be traveling to Elkhorn Valley View so please dismiss the team at 2:00 p.m. The 8th grade plays here against Elkhorn Valley View at 4:15 p.m. GOOD LUCK THIS SEASON TITANS!!! Boys don't forget to bring water bottles.

Attention DESTINATION IMAGINATION PARTICIPANTS … There will be an informational meeting for all participants, parents, and team managers the evening of Thursday, November 8th here at school. More details to come via email and a letter.

REMINDER: NO Halloween costumes, or make-up are to be worn or brought to school. Family 1st Dental of Hickman is having a Halloween Candy Buy Back. Give the Troops Something Sweet to Eat! November 1st, 5-7 p.m. Have your candy weighed for CASH! 1 Pound of Unopened Candy = $1 (up to 5 lbs).

POCKET CALENDARS are available through the MS Office. Cost $5.00.

gainst Gretna. REMINDER: Admission prices are Adults $7, Students $5. your Athletic passes of any type are not valid due to this being an NSAA sponsored event.
