MS 10-15 Bulletin

Girls who completed their 5000 shots for basketball over the summer and this fall please turn in your sheets to Coach Halvorsen ASAP.

Picture Proofs should be arriving soon to your homes. Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 6th.

7th grade football check-in was Friday after school, the following players still need to turn in their equipment:

Dale Buhr, Jacob McVay and Bryce Stai. Football players that wore their game jersey to the football game on Friday night please return them to Coach Halvorsen ASAP.

The Fall Season is upon us, which means colder temps. Which means a change in wardrobe. Reminder to read page 11 in your planner. A few reminders: Slippers and Pajama pants are for home, come to school with pride in your personal appearance and ready to learn.

Did you complete a yellow punch card this quarter? Way to go!! If you did, you are invited to a free movie night on Friday, October 26th at 3:45. We will be screening THE HUNGER GAMES in the Middle School Library. The movie should end around 6:00, so be sure to have a ride ready to pick you up. Only students who have completed a yellow punch card are eligible for the free movie.

TEEN READ WEEK is on it's way!! The theme this year is “IT CAME FROM THE LIBRARY!!” The library is sponsoring a contest for the best bookmark idea that uses that theme. It can be as creepy as you want. The winning bookmarks will be copied and used in the library and the winning artisst will receive a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble. We will have one winner from each grade.

LAST CALL: Students planning to participate in Destination Imagination (DI) must turn in their commitment contracts to either Mrs. Schlake or Mrs. Wesch by Friday, October 12th … NO exception! If you have any questions before then about DI or finding a team please see Mrs. Wesch. If you need a commitment contract stop by the office to pick one up.

Students and parents: The mobile website for our PowerSchool product is nice. But if you have an IOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod) device, the new apps are even better. They offer a wealth of information at your fingertips.
