NORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLETIN

Wednesday, Sept. 8th (A Day)


Congratulations to our 7th-Grade Volleyball Players and coaches on their A and B team victories over the Blair Bears last night. The 7th- Grade moves to 2-0 on the season and plays again on Thursday at Gretna Aspen Creek. 


Congratulations to our 8th-Grade Volleyball Players and coaches on their A and B team victories over the Blair Bears last night. Last year as 7th-Graders, the girls did not win one game. This year, the girls are off to a 2-0 start to the season! The 8th-grade plays at home this Thursday vs. Aspen Creek. 


A couple of opportunities to come out and support our Titans this week. 7th-Grade Football is away tomorrow vs. Bennington. 7th-Grade Volleyball will host Aspen Creek Tomorrow night in the High School North. Both games will start at 4:10. 


Our MS XC Boys are Team Champions at the Beatrice Invite on Saturday. The girls placed 2nd!


Good morning, everyone!  Just a reminder we have Eileen's Cookie Dough pickup today, for everyone who sold, with last names beginning with A-J.  


7th grade football will be leaving early on Thursday. Players will leave after WIN and will not check into 7th period. 


Last Years, YEARBOOKS are available to purchase in the MS Office for $15.

If you had not ordered and would still like one there are a few left - first come, first served.


ACTIVITY CARDS are being handed out during Advisory today for those that have purchased one.  They are still available if you would like to purchase one.


Students: You are at 696 Titan Tokens so far! We are working toward our 1000 goal.  Visit the store on Wednesday mornings at the concession stand to use your tokens.

Chromebooks should not be set on top of lockers.  They will slide off.

Chromebook Insurance is due each year - $35.

All 7th graders need to turn in a Physical that is dated after May 1, 2021

whether playing sports or not.  It is a requirement to be in school.


If you have not yet done so, you as a Student need to log into PowerSchool and read the Student Handbook and mark that you have done so.  ASAP  6th Graders, you will not receive your Chromebook until you do so.



Kick Off CAMPUS LIFE today after school 3:40 - 5:00.

We provide you with a lock to protect your items in your locker.

All locks should be on and locked at all times.


Congrats to the following students on winning the Bookmark Contest! In 6th Grade, Max Bouman, 7th Grade,  Kaylee Tautfest, and from 8th Grade, Kenzie Siebrandt.  Runners up in the contest were: Bella Hays, Emelyn Backer, Lydia Dominy, Drake McHugh, and Hailey Rider. Thanks to all who entered!Please see Mrs. Andre or Mrs. Lawson for your prizes!


All 7th grade students interested in book club please sign up in the Library.  We will start in about two weeks.  I have 13 spots for our first title.

REMINDER:  All Cell Phones and other Electronic Devices are to be off and in your Locker.  If taken away they may be picked up in the office at the end of the day.  After 3 offenses your Parents will need to pick them up.
