SCHOOL PICTURES ARE SCHEDULED FOR AUG. 25th beginning with 8th grade at 8:30.  We will call you down.  Plan accordingly, Picture Packets are going home today and if ordering through the packet method you are to bring it back the day of pictures and turn them into the photographer.

Broadcast and Video Production - Are you interested in sports, using video equipment and computers? Can you imagine yourself working for ESPN or Husker Vision someday?  We are looking for students to help broadcast sporting events on Youtube and possibly edit game highlights for social media.  We need motivated students that can consistently commit time outside of school (athletic events) to be announcers, camera/replay operators, and video editors.  Please see or email Mr. Carlson (andrew.carlson@nsdtitans.org) or Jason Cullison (jason.cullison@nsdtitans.org) for more information.


If playing a MS School sport (7th & 8th graders) you must have the following in place:

$50 - Sports Fee (Covers all year and all Sports)

NSAA Form

Concussion Form

Physical


If you pay the Sports fee you receive your Activity Card with that.

Those will be handed out mid week this week.  If you would like to

Purchase an Activity Pass to get into games for $30.  Suggestion

if you carry a cell phone take a picture of your Activity Card in

Case you leave your pass at home.  A Parent Pass is $80 each or

10 Punch Cards for $50.


All 7th graders need to turn in a Physical that is dated after May 1, 2021

whether playing sports or not.  It is a requirement to be in school.


If you have yet done so, you as a Student need to log into PowerSchool and read the Student Handbook and mark that you have done so.  ASAP  6th Graders, you will not receive your Chromebook until you do so.


REMINDER:  All Cell Phones and other Electronic Devices are to be off and in your Locker.  If taken away they may be picked up in the office at the end of the day.  After 3 offenses your Parents will need to pick them up.


StUDENTS:  Your Lock needs to be used on your locker at all times.


DRESS CODE:  Reminder to dress for success and appropriately.  2” straps, or strapless or off the shoulder tops.  Stomachs need to be fully covered.  Be mindful of the length of your shorts,  


Back to School Bookmark Contest is here! The media center invites you to design a bookmark! You can stop by the library anytime this week for templates. Submission deadline is Friday, August 27. 


Student Council meeting this Wednesday, August 18 in Mrs. Keller’s room (304). Report to your WIN and check in first. 


Are you interested in learning how to play the Ukulele?  Mrs. Andre will host a Ukulele club beginning next week after school.  The library has Ukuleles for checkout.  Stay tuned for more information.  


6th Grade Book Club!  Mrs. Lawson has 10 spots available for her 6th grade book club.  You will be reading The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die. Club meetings will be Tuesdays during lunch.  Sign up in the Library before all the spots are taken.
