No Limits Summer Activism Summit
When: June 16-18, 2021
Where: The Leadership Center, Aurora, NE
Cost: Free (We will even pick you up!)
Big Tobacco has a long history of marketing its deadly products to youth through manipulation and deception, and we’ve seen it all and had enough of it! As youth, we have the voice of change in this world and the power to make a positive difference. By using our voice, we will continue to stand up to Big Tobacco, bringing attention to the environmental impacts of tobacco products, and marketing toward youth. Youth can empower, help guide, and provide our peers with resources to create the change we want to see.
A few of the topics youth will learn about include No Limits and Big Tobacco 101, Big Tobacco’s history of manipulative marketing tactics, the positive difference youth are capable of making, how tobacco harms the environment, and how to take strategic steps in the right direction to make change a reality.
Who can register:
Nebraska youth ages 12-18 or in grades 7-12
Both individuals and groups are welcome to register

Interested in the Norris Trap Team?
If you plan on being a part of the Norris Trap Team in 2022, please complete your Hunter's Safety Certificate (preferably in person) before Feb. 1, 2022.

Terrific Titan Winners our hallway of bricks is looking great! Past and present winners please remember to follow through on your brick or ceiling tile! Any bricks partially complete (not finished) by the end of the school year will be painted over this summer. See Mr. Martin or Mrs. Schlake for assistance or any questions!
Premium Touch Screen Chromebooks for Sale! ($125 each!)
The Norris School District is offering Acer Spin 11 Chromebooks for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. These Chromebooks are a touch screen flip style Chromebook (Flips into a tablet.) that have dual cameras and run Android Applications. (They accept the Acer R11 stylus as well as the regular touch.) (Most units will come with the stylus.)
These units can be purchased at the administration offices at the Norris School District DURING THE HOURS OF 8-4 DAILY - CASH ONLY. (Please bring correct change). (Multiple units available.) You can come in the administration entrance located on the SE corner of the Norris High School

Technology announcements:
8th graders: You will be receiving a new device this fall as you start your freshman year. At the end of your senior year you will be able to purchase the device at a large discount, so make sure you take good care of your Chromebook! We encourage all students to take out the protection plan coverage each year on your Chromebook. All 8th grade students will not have a school issued device over the summer.
