Friday, August 23rd (A DAY)


         ONCE YOU GET INTO A HABIT, it’s harder to forget it than to remember!

              Almost half the things you do each day are habits, not decisions.


6th Grade students:  Today we will tryout Mr. Martin and Ms. Coe's classes on mouthpieces.  On Monday we will tryout Mr. Korinek, Mr. Kranz, and Mrs. Baehr.

So today Mr. Martin and Ms. Coe's classes will come to the band room during LITT.  Thanks to the kids who came yesterday. You were very well behaved and polite.

6th Grade Band Meeting for Students and Parents on Aug. 29th at 7:00 p.m. in the HS Auditorium.


REMINDER:  STUDENTS - if you arrive before 8:00 a.m. you are to stay in the commons until 8:00.  Thank you for your cooperation.


If playing a fall sport (Volleyball, Football, Cross country) 7th or 8th Grade the following forms are

Due in the office before you can practice:

  •      Student Yearly Update

  •      Physical

  •      NSAA Form

  •     Concussion Form

  •     $50


Every Student is to have their Student Yearly Update in ASAP.

Plus if you are a 7th grader whether playing a sport or not you need a physical turned in ASAP.


Wearable Order forms are available in the MS Office for Volleyball and Football. Volleyball orders are due by this Friday, August 23rd; Football is due by the 29th.


Circle of Friends sign up is on the bulletin board in between the 6th and 7th grade hallways.  We will meet NEXT Friday, Aug. 30th. All 6th-8th graders interested in learning more about how to make friends with students or students with disabilities as well as helping others make friends are welcome.




If you missed getting your 2019  MS YEARBOOK, they are still available in the office for the price of:  $10


REMINDER:  CELL PHONES and other ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE TO BE OFF AND IN YOUR LOCKERS!  There is a cell phone that was turned in yesterday, so if you are missing yours stop by and see if we have it.

 

Colorguard Club If you are interested in learning about spinning flags and rifles, colorguard is for you!  Sign up in the Library with Mrs. Andre. We will have the opportunity to perform at least three times this year, with the Homecoming parade up first!  

 

Back to School Bookmark Contest:  come to the library for entry forms for our Bookmark contest.  Prizes awarded for the best bookmark in each grade.
