TODAY’S ACTIVITIES:
Spread the word about the Barnes and Noble Bookfair this Saturday, October 5th at the SouthePointe location. A portion of all sales, including coffee and music, will go towards buying books for a cross-curricular unit for English and Science 9. Some of our Norris students will be reading at 1:00. Even if you can't attend, you can use the code 11170875 for online purchases from 10/5 through 10/10. For more information see the story posted on the district website.
The Norris Music Boosters Tailgate Party is this Friday, October 4th prior to the Nebraska City @ Norris Football Game! Join us as Smokehouse 77 (from Cortland, NE) serves pulled pork and burgers from 5:30-7:30pm.
The following freshmen need to make up the MAP Mathematics test and should report to the mega lab at the start of IAP on Friday:

9-12 boys interested in playing indoor soccer this winter, sign-up in the high school office.
Students interested in competing for the Legion Scholarship through the Oratorical Competition should meet with Jim Varejcka, local Legion commander, on Thursday during IAP in room S-7 (Ms. Millington's room).
Swim Team: If you plan to be a part of the swim team this year, please sign-up in the high school office.
Attention Sophomores! Do you have a natural ability to lead and want to make a difference? Consider becoming a Hugh O'Brien Youth Ambassador and attend the HOBY Seminar in June (at Doane College). Refer to email sent by Mrs. Moser for more details on ESSAY QUESTION to respond to.
