TODAY’S ACTIVITIES: SkillsUSA Meeting – IAP – W-18
FFA Meeting – MPR – 7:00 p.m.
Volleyball @ Nebraska City – 5:30
JV-V Softball @ Plattsmouth – 5:00
Royalty Candidates: Meeting in MPR at 9:50 am Wednesday. It is for all who are a candidate on the NHS HC Royalty Court.
Junior Lip Sync: Lip Sync practice today and tomorrow during IAP in E-2. Any junior is welcome to come.
Blood donors from the August 29th drive: your t-shirts have arrived. Please stop in the Career Center to pick yours up.
Any students that had Staples-Farmer last year for AP Language and Composition can come to S-1 to pick up their final portfolio. After Friday, September 13, portfolios will be considered a donation to the English Department.
Homecoming Dance Outside Dates: If you are bringing a date from another school, you will need to have a permission form filled out and returned by TOMORROW. Forms are in the high school office.
Any students interested in joining Spanish Club can come to an informational meeting on Thursday Sept. 12th during IAP. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Good's room (W-5).
Homecoming is NEXT WEEK! Events happening:
~Online voting for royalty court this week - check your email - ballot is attached! You have until midnight
Thursday to vote. See the attachment to the form for details. Each class votes for his/her own class. As a
school we will vote for the king/queen.
~Dress for the dance is casual.
~The dance is in the south gym this year. Doors open at 9 pm for the dance, and only the west doors. Doors
are locked 1 hour after the completion of the game. The dance goes until 11:30 pm.
~Pizza and drinks will be available for you to purchase.
Dress up days:
Tuesday - zombie day
Wednesday - geriatric day
Thursday - hallway theme day - TItans Across the USA!
Friday - white, red and blue day, NORRIS SPIRIT!
There will be an ACT math review class starting Monday, Sept. 23rd in Mr. Price's room (MS 401) and running for 5 straight Mondays. Cost is $10 for the class, no matter how many times you participate. Right now the schedule is for Monday nights from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM, but it may change due to people's schedules.
Seniors - Sign up in the office for a time slot for your senior picture on Wednesday, September 18th (B day) and Thursday, September 19th (A day). Cost is $15.
JOB OPPORTUNITY:
Haven Manor, Hickman, has openings for interested applicants.
Requirements: be at least 16 years old
Openings: one of the positions is every other weekend on day shift (7am-1pm) and the other position is one evening shift, one weekday shift and every other weekend (3:15pm-11:30pm). NOTE: hours on the evening shift position during the week could be adjusted to give someone time to to work after school.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
