Community Pep Rally & Kick-off Picnic – 11:00 

 

Any student interested in participating in Mock Trial this year should sign the roster outside of Mr. Koenig's room - W15.

 

Freshmen - check you're e-mail.   Mrs. Hunter has sent you a form to vote for Homecoming themes. You need to vote by Sunday, Aug 25th @ 5:00pm.  We will have a class meeting on Monday during IAP to go over some of the rules for Homecoming and talk about the different committees.

 

Sophomores:  Check your email!

Sophomore Homecoming theme:  To vote for this year's Homecoming theme check your email.  Preliminary voting starts today and ends Sunday evening at 9:00pm.  Final voting of top 3-4 themes will be voted on Monday 26th-Tuesday 27th.

 

Sophomore Class Officers:  Sophomores interested in running for class officers need to see Mrs. Kernes to pick up a letter of application.  Applications are due Friday 30th August by 4:00pm.  Voting for class officers will take place via email the week of September 3-6, so be sure to check your email that week to vote.

 

Volleyball t-shirts for sale – stop by the high school office and pick up an order form.  Forms and money are due Tuesday, August 27th.

 

Freshmen - if you would like to run for Student Council or freshmen class officer, please view your email for the application.  If you have any question, please see Mrs. Hunter the freshmen sponsor, or Mrs. Hansmeyer, StuCo sponsor.

 

COLLEGE REPS:

UNL will be here Monday, September 16th during IAP.  Sign up will be coming soon to the bulletin board in the senior hallway!

**Remember college rep visits are open to any interested Juniors and Seniors, and it will fulfill the requirement for any student who has STC this year (semester 1 or 2). 

 

JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

The 40th & Yankee Hill Runza® in Lincoln is looking for part-time help.  The hours are very flexible and can be scheduled to work around school activities.  Stop by the 40th & Yankee Hill location and fill out an application or apply on-line at www.runza.com.

 

Help needed at The Treehouse in HIckman.  Must be 18 years of age or older, dependable and able to work well as a team. The position would be 3:30/3:45ish - no later than 7pm. Job duties would include working mainly with our school-age children Kindergarten - 10 years, making sure they all have snack, start their homework, and supervise their environment while playing, and also light cleaning in the evenings. Come in to fill out or pick up applications at 580 Prairie View Lane in Hickman.
