Board of Education vacancy application

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Board of Education of Norris School District #160 as a result of the death of Patty Bentzinger. In accordance with state law, the Board will begin the process of appointing an individual to complete the remainder of Mrs. Bentzinger’s term on the board. The length of the unexpired term is for the same length of time as Ms. Bentzinger would have served on the Board of Education. Interested Applicants must live in Ward 2 to be appointed for the open seat.

Applications can be obtained by emailing brian.maschmann@nsdtitans.org or at the Norris School District Administration Office and will be accepted by email (brian.maschmann@nsdtitans.org) until noon on February 6. TODAY’S ACTIVITIES:            


Congratulations to the State Champion Baseball Team!  State championship t-shirts are for sale in the high school office.  Forms and money will be due on Monday.

 

Track Girls:  A reminder that our closing meeting for the 2013 season will be a dessert banquet to be held on Tuesday, May 21, at 6:30 in the multi-purpose room.   Seniors will be bringing the table ware, and everyone else needs to bring their favorite dessert.  Tell your family and come enjoy some dessert.

 

Reminder to all students: We will be removing your network accounts over the summer, and adding you back to the network. You will be keeping your same network ID and password, but any files you have on the Z drive will be lost, so we recommend that you make a backup to a flash drive, or into your Google Apps account prior to the start of the summer.


All student Google Accounts (Other than seniors) will remain in place each year.  You will have access to all Google Apps content 24x7 as long as you remain a Norris student. Remember, all content is accessible by school personnel when deemed necessary. Make sure you practice proper digital citizenship and use this account for school purposes only.
