Board of Education vacancy application

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Board of Education of Norris School District #160 as a result of the death of Patty Bentzinger. In accordance with state law, the Board will begin the process of appointing an individual to complete the remainder of Mrs. Bentzinger’s term on the board. The length of the unexpired term is for the same length of time as Ms. Bentzinger would have served on the Board of Education. Interested Applicants must live in Ward 2 to be appointed for the open seat.

TODAY’S ACTIVITIES:             State Baseball Tournament @ Haymarket Park – Norris vs. Omaha Skutt-4:00

                                                Trap Team Banquet – MPR – 6:30 p.m.

 

2013-14 Academy students ~~ SCC dual credit registration meeting TODAY during IAP.  Please report to M-13 to complete the required paperwork.

 

TITAN MAN: Danielle Pelini, Jacob Lambert, Baxter Whitla, and Steven Dieter: please make arrangements with Mrs. Staples-Farmer to interview/audition.

 

Strength Cond. with Coach Jacobsen will be cancelled for Monday after school.  Instead please find a way to Haymarket Park to watch the baseball team play at 4:00.  See you Tues. after school.

 

There will be a mandatory team meeting on Tuesday, May 14 for all girls who are finished with competition this season.  We will have a team meeting and will check-in uniforms at that time.  All Seniors will need to turn them in at that time in order to get signed out.

 

Meeting for wrestlers Wednesday May 15 during IAP in Coach Reeds room.

 

Summer Speed Development – Sign-up sheet/t-shirt forms are in the high school office or Mr. Allen’s room.

           

JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

Sloup/Thorell Detasseling runs a crew from this area led by Greg Rettele, Norris Middle School Phys. Ed. Teacher.  Pick up information/application in the career center.
