2013-14 Sports Physicals will be given at school on Saturday, May 4 from 8:30-11:30.  Stop by the high school office to sign up.  Cost is $32.

 

FFA Adopt-A-Mile – sign up by Dr. Harms’ room.

 

Students:  When using the Chromebooks or other laptops in the classrooms, please do not hold them by the screen.  We have had several breakages, due to this. Please be careful with the technology.  Teachers are the only ones that should be plugging the units in for charging.  (These devices have a weak point around the charging port that will not take a lot of damage.)  Thanks for helping us out!       

 

Football:  9-11 Football Informational Meeting for next year – Wednesday, May 8 – IAP in the multi-purpose room.

 

Norris "Titan Man" Auditions: If you think you can handle being Norris new mascot, sign up in Mrs. Staples-Farmer's room by the end of the day Friday May 3rd. Both male and female students are welcome to audition. Questions? Contact Mrs. SSF. (Titan Man is a 9 foot inflatable mascot, similar to Lil Red).

 

 

GUIDANCE OFFICE INFO:                              

SENIORS -- please check your email for the Senior Survey you ALL need to complete by May 7.  SENIOR meeting in the Auditorium on May 7, during IAP, to complete transcript request forms for the dual credit classes you completed at Norris...you will need your SS#.

 

Lincoln Elks Youth Recognition Night~ students receiving an invitation by mail, take note the date was incorrect~ the reception is Monday, May 6th at Lincoln SCC campus.            

 

Youth Leadership Lincoln:  Any student interested in attending this retreat in the Fall (September 6th-7th), see Mrs. Moser or visit http://www.leadershipolincoln.org/programs/actioncenter/youth.html.  The cost is $250 and the registration deadline is May 17th.    

           

JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

Sloup/Thorell Detasseling runs a crew from this area led by Greg Rettele, Norris Middle School Phys. Ed. Teacher.  Pick up information/application in the career center.
