PSAT (Preliminary SAT standardized test) sign up is here!  Test is $17.00, limited number of spots are available (first come, first served).  Registration is open to any interested Junior or Sophomore.  To register, bring your money to Mrs. Moser in the Counseling Center (CC). The test will take place at Norris on Wednesday, October 16th in the North gym from 8:30-11:45 a.m. All registrations due by Sept 17th. Check your email for more details on the benefits of taking the PSAT. 


SCC Dual Credit Classes Registration:  Plan to attend the SCC registration meeting on Tuesday, August 27th in the auditorium for all semester one dual credit classes.  Those include: AP Stats, Calculus, College Algebra, Advanced Comp, Modern Literature. Bring a pen and your Social Security # with you!   If you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Moser to make arrangements.   


The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, the Lincoln Police Department and the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office are teaming up to combat youth initiation of nicotine products.   If you are 15-17 years of age and would like to participate in this, please go to this link for more information about this opportunity:


Students interested in participating on the quiz bowl team should email or talk to Mr. Hornung-Scherr so they can join the Google Classroom. Because quiz bowlers are generally very busy , they don't need to make it to all the practices to be on the team. All scholars are welcome!


The freshman FB team is looking for a student manager.  Contact Coach Severson if interested.


Volleyball t-shirt order forms are in the high school office.  Orders and money need to be in by Friday, August 23.


There will be one more football apparel order.  All orders must be placed by Thursday, August 29. 


Chromebook Protection Plan needs to be purchased by Friday, August 23.


Norris Neighbors is seeking new mentors!

Who: sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply.

What: high school students are paired with an elementary-age student to mentor twice per month during their lunch time for the 2019-2020 school year.  High School mentors will eat lunch and talk, read, or play games with their elementary mentee. Some additional commitments for training will be necessary during IAP- 4 training sessions in the fall and then quarterly after that. 

When: applications are due August 30th


Students can earn community service hours for participating, this is also a great experience to include on applications for scholarships and college! If you are interested, complete the application that was shared with all sophomores, juniors, and seniors.*Past mentors do not need to reapply.



Roca Berry Farm:  Roca Berry Farm is looking for seasonal help for this fall.   They are looking for tractor drivers (need valid driver’s license), game attendants and concession workers.  These jobs would be for Saturdays and Sundays starting Sept. 15th through Oct. 27th. Call 402-421-2933
