Anyone who is interested in running cross country next fall,  please attend our meeting on Tuesday, May 7th at 7:45am in Coach Allen's room

 

Need a placement test score for SCC or a dual credit class next year? Please add your name to the sign up sheet that was shared with you to take the Accuplacer Placement Test on Monday, May 6.

SCC will be here to administer the test. The test is FREE!

Last day to order a 2019 Yearbook is May 5th!  Time is running out the purchase a 2019 YEARBOOK.    ALL ORDERS ARE DUE MAY 5th!  Yearbooks can be purchased at JostenYearbooks.com

Once again, the TITAN Yearbook Staff is planning a "Yearbook Release Event" for the second day of school (Friday, August 16th).  This event is where the 2019 TITAN yearbooks will be distributed and students will be given some time to mingle with others and sign each other's yearbooks. The event will also feature FREE food, FREE gifts, prizes, and music.  Last two year's this event has been a huge success and over $1,000 in prizes were given away to attendees.  The only way students can attend this exclusive event is to purchase your own 2019 TITAN yearbook by May 5th.Don't delay, after May 5th it will be too late!!!

Prom Photos

Prom photos are available and can be viewed online at www.norris160.org/PROM or in the HS office window.  Orders are DUE Monday, May 6th.  

 

NEW CLASS for 2019-20: Computer Science Principles

Register today for a new course being offered in the 2019-20 school year (google form was shared with all 9-11 grade students)

The Computer Science Principles class introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges students to explore how computing and technology can impact the world.  In addition to being an introduction to computer programming, the course will cover algorithms, coding, the Internet, robotics, big data, digital privacy and security, and the societal impacts of computing.  

Yearlong course ~ 10 credits

Grades: 9-12

No prerequisites

 

Adventure Academy in Hickman is looking for part time and full time help for the summer.  Call Mariah at 792-2177


Detasseling:  If you are interested in detasseling this summer for Sloup-Thorell Detasseling - pick up an Informational sheet in the guidance office.
