SkillsUSA meeting tomorrow during IAP in W-18.

 

There will be a BOYS GOLF meeting to get shirts/jackets decided, on Tuesday February 5th during IAP in the high school conference room.

 

Peru dual credit registration for Adv. Chemistry is due today, Friday Feb 1st.  See Mrs. Moser with questions. Payment is not due until March 25, 2019.

 

Any students interested in AP Government and Politics next year, please see Mr. Steinkuhler, Mr. Applegate, or Mr. Koehler.  

 

Girls Soccer:  Due to show choir, the Girls Soccer Meeting will be after school on TUESDAY, Feb 5th in Coach Hennings room

 

DRIVER”S ED:  Road-Ready will once again be offering Driver Education at Norris High School.

The class will be February 18 – March 1 after school from 4:00-6:30 instructed by Mr. Steinkuhler.

Roll up your sleeve to donate at the next drive in memory of Brianna Titterington.

Scheduled for Wednesday, February 6 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the north high school gym.

Sign up online at NCBB.

  • All donors must be at least 16 years old and weigh 118 lb.  

  • All Norris students must have a parent permission form on file (you do NOT need an additional form if you have donated this school year).  Additionally, an NCBB parent permission form is required at each drive for 16 year old donors .

  • Forms available in the Guidance office.  Submit to Mrs. O'Connor.

 

 

Show Choir auditions for next year are March 6.  You do not have to be in choir this year to audition for next year.  It is always fun to discover new talent!! See Mr Hansmeyer ASAP if you are interested, but not currently in choir.  

 

Beatrice YMCA is offering lifeguard certification and recertification classes.  Please go to this link to view the information about the classes.

 

Juniors: Interested in Government and Law??

Consider applying for the Attorney General’s Youth Conference, which will be held at the Nebraska State Capitol on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.  Selected students will be invited to participate in discussion and debate of current issues, hear from AGO Bureau Chiefs, and eat lunch at the Governor’s Residence.

The application deadline is February 15th, see Mrs. Moser for application details.
