Hello!  Welcome to My World!  Yes, I may be your Neighbor!!!

I grew up in Sterling, Nebraska where both of my parents were also teachers!  Can you imagine why I became a teacher?  It must be part of my genes!!!!! I graduated and moved on to the University of Nebraska.  Although I  graduated with a teaching degree,  I took a detour for a year and studied Respiratory Therapy.  However, the call to teach seemed much stronger so I journeyed on to Wood River to teach science!  I stayed in Wood River for 3 years and had a wonderful time.  But my heart seemed to be back in eastern Nebraska, so I returned to Lincoln and began teaching at Norris High School.  This is where I've been since 1980,  teaching science.  Must be a great place!  Believe me, it is!   Great people!  You'd love them, too!

I have always loved the outdoors, so teaching science was a natural transition for me.   Biking, hiking, traveling and gardening are some of my hobbies.  What a beautiful world we live in and I hope you all take the opportunity to get out and enjoy the beauty, soaking in everything! 

By the way, I have a twin sister and I won't tell you whether we are identical or not.   You will have to figure that out for yourself!!!  Just beware, you never know when you might see another me!!!  Look Out!!
