Norris Elementary, Third Grade

I grew up in Seattle and liked to play baseball with boys and run and ride my Stingray bike.  My mother made me learn to play the piano and now I am glad, but when I was a kid, I didn't like to practice.

Now I have been teaching for twenty years which is long enough to know if you like something.  I do love teaching and children and learning. 

I am married to Gary.  He is a drummer/cook/web designer.  He likes to create wonderful meals, but he is happiest when playing music.  My son, Jack, also plays percussion.  He is in Symphonic Band and Marching Band at Lincoln High and goes to Arts and Humanities Focus School.
