Norris Lady Titan Girls Varsity Soccer History

  The Lady Titan Soccer Program was established in 1998.   

  Janet Myers (Head coach), Dan Tharp (assistant coach), and Becky Logsdon (volunteer assistant coach) were the Titans' first coaches.

  Dan Tharp is now the head girls' soccer coach at Lincoln Southwest High school.

  Shane Keeling joined the coaching staff in 2000.  Coach Keeling went on to coach the girls soccer team at Waverly in 2003.  He is now the head boys' soccer coach at Waverly.

  Brad Sass joined the coaching staff in 2004.  He continues to coach the junior varsity team. 

  The Lady Titan Soccer team were district Runner-up in 2001, losing to Lincoln Pius X in the finals.

   Goalkeeper Kate Campbell has the state record for number of saves in one game.  It was against Elkhorn in 2001.    Kate currently is a volunteer assistant coach for the Lady Titans.

   Coach Myers is also the assistant women's soccer coach at Concordia University, in Seward, Nebraska (2000-present).

  The Lady Titans had their first winning season in 2006 with a record of 9-7.

  In 2008, sophomore Rachel Hansen scored the fasted goal in the program's history at         14 seconds against Blair. 

   In 2008, the Lady Titans got off to their best season start with an 8-3 in the regular season.
