Student Expectations for Science

Classroom Rules:

  1. Follow directions.
  2. Be on time.
  3. Bring your materials needed for class.
  4. Be nice to all people.
  5. Do your own work to the best of your ability
  6. Treat others as you would want to be treated.

Other Stuff:

  1. No gum or candy.
  2. Don’t tip back in chairs.
  3. Wait to be given instructions about science equipment found on your table.
  4. Running around the science classroom is not permitted.
  5. Get permission to enter the office area.

Consequences:   Any of the following may occur if rules are broken:

  1. Detention (lunch or after school)
  2. Phone call to parents
  3. Sent to hallway for conference with teacher
  4. Sent to office
  5. Suspension from class

 Responsibilities:

  1. Find out what make up work you need and do it on time
  2. Know and follow rules
  3. Use your pass privileges wisely.
  4. Be aware that your behavior can be a distraction to your classmates.

 Materials:

  1. Book
  2. 3-ring binder  with loose paper
  3. Planner
  4. Pen/pencil

Late Homework: Follow the Homework policy set up by 7th grade Team

Late 1 day= 10% off                     

Late 2 days= 20% off

Late 3 days= 30 % and so on.

After 5 days late, paper is 50% off.  Anything later, the paper is not acceptable.
