Unit 3- Cells  & Function of Cells

In this unit, students will:

1) Identify some of the early scientists that discovered cells and invented microscopes.

2) Identify and memorize the parts and functions of a plant cell and an animal cell.

3) Create models of one animal cell and one plant cell.

4) Labs:  "How to use a microscope," and "Onion Skin, Elodea Leaf, and Cheek Cell" Lab

5)  Learn about the processes of osmosis and diffusion.
