Kathy Hegler Kathleen Hegler has been teaching English in southeast Nebraska for more than thirty years. In that time she has enjoyed the company of thousands of young people in public schools in Omaha, Lincoln, Wymore, and now in the Norris district south of Lincoln. Times have changed, but for the most part, the kids have not. They continue to give her great pleasure as she leads them in English classes in grade 7 today. Mrs. Hegler and her husband Bob live in Cortland, Nebraska, and have four grown children.
