for an insurance company for several years before deciding to complete my teaching
degree. Two of my three children had due dates that fell during finals week when
I attended college full-time! That was certainly an invigorating time in
my life to say the least! |

I love learning new things and have completed 36 additional
college credits since getting my Master's Degree.

 | Favorite thing about teaching: I really enjoy working with all the
Norris families. I love watching the students grow and change throughout the
years. Seeing them graduate is such a thrill for me. I am so proud of them- and I can't believe
all those years passed by so quickly. |
 | Family: My husband Darrell is a farmer. We both
graduated from Norris. We live in
Cortland . Our oldest daughter Miranda
is married, and lives in the Gretna / Omaha area. She
is a medical lab technologist with Streck Laboratories in Omaha. They have
two sons: Kabe age 8, and Braxton age 4. Our daughter
Lacey is also married, and lives in Charlotte, N.C. She is an R.N. in the
cardiac unit at Carolina Medical Center. They have a son Cooper age 2, and a
daughter Lenox, age 1. Our son Jesse is an electrician in Lincoln. |
 | Hobbies/Interest Areas: I am fascinated by all things
scientific and am still in awe of our natural world. I enjoy gardening,
traveling, attending school activities, spending
time with our children and our four grandchildren. |
