Language Arts communication skills are integrated and required of all second grade students throughout the day.  Students spend time daily on writing activities such as handwriting, journaling, and editing and on oral communication activities.

Multicultural activities include:  Student participation in oral discussions and responds to questions related to multicultural multimedia presentations and literature.
