| 2nd grader's Social Studies units focus on 3 world habitats
- forest, polar regions & rain forests - with an emphasis on plants,
animals, geography & people of these regions. We also study the
contributions of numerous historical figures & events. Basic mapping
skills are introduced. We will also study important historic people
and the contributions they made. Timelines will be incorporated.
Biographies will also be completed.
2nd graders will visit and compare and contrast various cultures
