Personal Background

Bryan and I have been married for 12 years.  We have two children, Cierra is 8 years old and Jordan is 6 years old.  We have a dog named Harley.

Educational Background

I graduated in May of 1994, from Doane College with a Bachelors degree in Special Education K-12 and a Bachelors degree in Human Relations.  I took my first full-time teaching position at Cheney School District #153 in August, 1994.  I worked with special education as well as taught first and third grade math throughout my 12 years there.  In August 2006, I started my teaching career here at Norris Public Schools in the Middle School as the 7th Grade Learning Specialist.  I am current taking classes for Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

Hobbies/Interest Areas

I enjoy spending time with my family and running.
