Speech can be broken into three separate areas:  Articulation, Voice, and Fluency.  Speech difficulties may interfere with a child’s ability to successfully communicate.
Speech disabilities may occur in any of the three areas of speech.   A speech disability alone DOES NOT affect a student's performance in the classroom.
