Background Information
I
was born and raised on a farm near Elgin, NE. Elgin is a small town of 800
people in northeast Nebraska. I
married Heath Petsche on May 28, 1999. He is an Investment
Representative with Edward Jones in Lincoln. We have been blessed with two
children, Taylyn
Elizabeth and Easton William. They truly are the joys of our life.
Education History
I attended St.
Boniface Grade School and graduated from Elgin Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High
School in May 1995. I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 1999. I earned my Master of Science
degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in
May 2001.
Work History
I
have worked at Norris since I graduated with my degree. I currently work with
children with speech and language impairments in kindergarten through second
grade. I find working with children very entertaining and rewarding.
I love to teach children as well as learn and grow from them. While at
school, I also enjoy working with the social committee and coaching 7th
Grade Volleyball.
Hobbies/Interest Areas
Running, spending
time with family and friends, boating, volunteering with Caring Connections,
helping with our K4J (Kids for Jesus) Program at church, Relay for Life Team
