Tournament Overview
The defending champion Norris Quizbowl team of Andrew Keralis, Shane Lowe, Kyle Lococo and Andrea Wiggins brought home the fourth place trophy from the twent-four team Bellevue University Quizbowl, held Saturday, March 3rd. The Titans started the day with a pair of wins over Gretna 170-50 and Bellevue East 190-90 to reach the winner’s bracket semi-finals, where they lost in overtime to Norfolk 140-141. The Titans moved to the one-loss bracket and beat Ralston 165-95. This put the Titans into a rematch with eventual runner-up Bellevue East who beat the Titans 160-110. Bellevue West came out on top in the tournament, with Bellevue East second and Norfolk third. Norris will next compete in the EMC Quizbowl at Elkhorn on March 13th and at Nebraska Wesleyan on March 18th.
