Hello! Welcome to 3rd Grade! I grew up in York, NE and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education and a coaching endorsement from Midland Lutheran College in 2003 and then obtained my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University in 2009. This school year will be my 19th year in education. I taught first grade for six years in Gretna and also was an assistant volleyball coach there. Our family then moved to Stromsburg and I taught part time Title 1 Reading and Math for two years at High Plains Community School. In 2012 I wanted a full time position, so I began teaching first grade for two years and then moved down to Kindergarten for five years. I was the head volleyball coach at Cross County for six years. I am married to Ty Twarling who also teaches at Norris and is the head football coach and assistant track coach. We have three kids Ella is 13, Brileigh is 11, and Trindon is 6. I love sports, reading, decorating and shopping!
