The Myth of Overpopulation

Many scientists have tried to warn us of the overpopulation of the earth and how we should start slowing down the rate of human reproduction.  Please consider this:

The state of Texas covers a land area of 263,513 square miles (Funk & Wagnall's Encyclopedia, 1966).

There are 27,878,400 square feet in a square mile (5,280 x 5,280).   Take 27,878,400 times 263,513  to get a total square footage of the state of Texas.

        Total square footage:   7.346320819 E 12  (734,632,0819,000)

Total population of the world?   Estimate this at 6 billion (6,000,000,000)

Divide the area in Texas by the population:  1,224.4 square feet per person.

Take the square root of 1,224.4   to find out that EACH person in the world could have a room 35 ft x 35 ft!   EVERYONE in the world would have a nice size room!  Yes, I know we have to raise food (another myth about not having enough food for everyone) and we have to have room for other things (going to the bathroom, etc.), but this is just the state of TEXAS!     What if we added Montana?  Alaska?   North America?
