NorthWest Missouri State University

     A team of sophomores and juniors from Norris High School recently participated in the NorthWest Missouri State University math contest on Thursday, March 13th,  in Maryville, Missouri.  All students took a 50 question, two hour test over normal math topics taught in a high school curriculum, with each grade’s test (sophomores, juniors, seniors) being a little different in the types of questions asked.  The team score was tabulated by adding the top three individual scores together.  There were three divisions of schools depending on size:  A  (small school),  AA (medium), and AAA (large). 

Sophomores:     Total contestants  143   (needed to score 26 to get into the top 10)
