| A few Resources to make your class a paperless classroom:
Make your classroom reach beyond the walls of your school building: FunBrain offers some excellent educational activities.... you can also setup custom quizzes where you will be emailed the results! The quiz center site and QuizStar also offers the ability to create quizzes. The Quia site also offers the ability to do quizzes as well as numerous online games. Try our Norris Staff Challenge Game or a sample multiple choice quiz. (Developed on Quia.) A little more about Quia and FunBrain can be found here. Discovery schools' site offers some nice teacher tools and resources including their quiz lab. (Free online quizzing feature.) Eboard is an excellent way to setup an electronic bulletin board to keep students, parents and other informed. (If making your own web page scares you.... this is a great way to start.) Want to turn your class into a web class/distance learning classroom? Check out blackboard or HighWired.com Teach-ology offers a nice online calendar for posting your class activities and assignments. The calendars net site also offers some nice free calendar services. Conduct an email survey. This site is free and compiles the results anonymously and send you the results via email. Profiler is a great tool for surveying students (or staff) and view the results electronically. TrackStar is an interface that helps instructors organize and define URL's in a database. MyPlaceWare offers a free meeting service (For up to 5 people) to chat, share slide shows, etc... TriPod Online class builder allows you to get your classroom online for free. Tips for Word and PowerPoint: Want to distribute a Word document and have hot links in the document?
