Converting your PowerPoint To a Web

It is simple to convert your PowerPoint to a web.

Step1- Create a folder on your hard drive or network to hold the files.
Step2- In PowerPoint, go to the file menu and select "save as HTML"
Step3- After answering the questions, you will be asked where to save the files. (Save them in the folder from step 1)
Step4- When in FrontPage, drag the folder containing your PowerPoint web into the FrontPage web.
Step5- From the Navigation View in PowerPoint...Drag the starting PowerPoint HTML web page into your current Web. This will make the appropriate Link to your PowerPoint web!

To save your PowerPoint as a web, go to the file menu in PowerPoint and select save as HTML.

In PowerPoint97.... you will have a 6 step Wizard walk you through the process of saving your PowerPoint as a web.

Step1PowerPoint.gif (8786 bytes)

When you reach step 3, I would suggest at least a 3/4 width of screen for the graphic.

Step3PowerPoint.gif (6520 bytes)

Upon completing the six step wizard, save it in an appropriate folder for later importing into your FrontPage web on the Internet.

When importing your presentation into your FrontPage web, I would recommend being in the folder view in FrontPage and dragging and dropping the folder from your hard drive into the web within FrontPage.
