With the development of the web, graphics are a must to developing web pages.

Some key things to keep in mind:

Use graphics sparingly....To many take away form the content and take to long to to load.
Animated graphics can become annoying. (Use sparingly!)
Graphics add to the download time. Long download times waste time.
Only 2 graphic formats are supported on the Internet, GIF and JPG. The GIF graphics can be animated. The JPG files are smaller in size but the Gif files seem to load quicker.

It is imperative that you understand how to manage graphics in FrontPage. This understanding will allow you to make your pages load as quickly as possible. Visit the link at the top of the page entitled "graphics" for tips and tricks!

My favorite shareware graphics program is Paintshop Pro. It is a shareware program that you can pickup from their site. My favorite graphics program is Adobe Photoshop Elements. If you can afford the full version of Photoshop...go for it, but PhotoShop Elements offers a lot of features for the money.

Here are a few links to some clipart sites on the Internet.
