By Board resolution, a Norris School District bond issue ballot referendum will be conducted via special election, with a projected timeline of mail-in ballots being sent to voters by Lancaster County Election Commission Oct. 22nd - Nov. 4th and return of all mail-in ballots by 5 PM November 14th.

Public information meetings on the bond issue will be held on the dates and times noted below. The bond issue will be for $7.5 million for campus infrastructure upkeep, renovations, and repairs, including Heating-Ventilating-A/C systems, lighting, driveway and parking lot surface repairs and repaving, bus barn and storage expansion, and campus safety and accessibility projects.

A separate ballot question for $2 million will be asked in order to construct baseball and tennis facilities. Both programs have existed for a decade in the Norris district with neither having a facility on campus to support community access or student participants.
