Norris Intermediate "Caring Lane" supports various charities

Monday, January 8, 2018

During the month of December,  Norris Intermediate students took part in Caring Lane.  For Caring Lane, each grade level raises funds or items for their chosen charity.  This year, students supported the Humane Society, the Pajama/Book project (City Mission,) the Backpack Program and food pantry.  Students also raised money on their, "Hat Day," to pay postage for school supplies to be sent to Puerto Rico, as well as for Cedars in Lincoln.  In addition to all of these worthy causes, families also donated over $850 this year to the Norris Area Food Pantry, in the name of their teachers.  Thanks to all of our students and families for their support and generosity!
