How to Draw a Storyboard

1.  You need a story to draw !!!!

For our class we will use very short stories so that we can keep the storyboards down to 6-10 frames.

              Super Short Stories

2.  You need to decide what parts of the story you want to depict.

You are only going to sketch 6 pictures, so pick the important parts of the story.

3.  Pretend you have a camera and are going to film those pictures,

what angles, lighting, and movement do you want for the camera?

4.  After you've thought through your 6-10 frame scene, draw a really

rough rough draft.  Use the small TV screen sheet.

5.  Once you're fairly certain what you want to draw, get a big piece

      paper and begin your frames.
