1. You need a story to draw !!!! For our class we will use very short stories so that we can keep the storyboards down to 6-10 frames. 2. You need to decide what parts of the story you want to depict. You are only going to sketch 6 pictures, so pick the important parts of the story.
3. Pretend you have a camera and are going to film those pictures, what angles, lighting, and movement do you want for the camera?
4. After you've thought through your 6-10 frame scene, draw a really rough rough draft. Use the small TV screen sheet.
5. Once you're fairly certain what you want to draw, get a big piece paper and begin your frames. |
